Week-long holiday for Eid Al Adha 2018

Public sector employees in UAE are set to enjoy a week-long break for Eid Al Adha 2018, starting from Sunday, August 19 until Thursday, August 23 (that’s 9 days off when combined with weekends.) Workers will return to their duties on Sunday, August 26. 

What about the private sector?

While not exactly the long weekend we hoped for, a three-day Eid Al Adha holiday for the private sector will run from Monday, August 20 until Wednesday, August 22… which means it’s back to work on Thursday, August 23.
