Jutting out from the roof of Mall of the Emirates, Ski Dubai is so much more than just a ski slope; it’s a resort of winter wonderment inviting you to swap the sweltering heat for sub-zero temperatures. No matter your ability, this indoor ski dome will keep you coming back; it’s uber cool and snow much fun (sorry, couldn’t resist). Here’s a rundown of the activities and Ski Dubai prices…
Snow Bullet Zip Line Dubai

With the world’s first (of course!) and only sub-zero zip line Dubai has to offer, the snow Snow Bullet offers seconds of fast fun above the slopes. You can race friends or family along the 150-metre line that sits 16 metres above the slopes. Ski Dubai prices for the Snow Bullet: AED 160.
Avalanche Cafe
For those wanting a taste of the wintery experience, hop on the Ski Dubai chairlift and head straight to Avalanche for the hot chocolate – you will not regret it. This is the perfect Aprés substitution for those who want to feel as though they’ve hopped on a plane and landed in the Alps.
Ski Chair Lift
Who says you need to be able to ski to see the top of the slopes? We did a few laps of Ski Dubai on the Chairlift in between activities. It’s the perfect #OnlyinDubai selfie opportunity; if you have a GoPro,bring it along for the ride.
SWIM with Penguins

Ski Dubai even offers guests the chance to swim Gentoo and King in a 5-foot deep ppl. It’s a 90-minute session that’s only available to those over the ages of 18 who are able to swim. The pass is pricey (AED 1,330), but you’ll get access to the Snow Park, the Giant Snowball, the Chairlift and a hot chocolate at Avalanche cafe. You’ll also get the underwater penguin viewing, an encounter with your own penguin, photos and more. There’s a cheaper option with includes a group encounter plus Ski Dubai activities for AED 360.
Zorbing
Climb inside a giant snowball and roll to the bottom of a 10-foot slope! Zorbing at Ski Dubai offers the perfect thrill for the young and the young at heart! opt for the Polar pass which gives you unlimited access to the Snow Park and Giant Ball with one ride on Mountain thriller, the chairlift and a pair of fleece gloves. Freestyle Snowboarding
Freestyle fanatic? The ever-changing jumps and rails will test your skill and the black line will assess your agility and put your snowboarding tricks to the test. This is an activity for the more experienced boarders who can impress the onlookers with their snow skills.
Toboggan

Some may say this is for the kids, but those people are wrong! With adult passes into the Snow Park at Ski Dubai for AED 220, you don’t have to be able to ski or snowboard to enjoy the chilly temperatures. You can try tobogganing, tubing, bobsled rides, snow bumpers and one ride in the giant zorb ball.
Skiing
Ski Dubai caters to complete beginners, offering both group and private classes for those who want to learn to ski or snowboard in Dubai. Private lessons cost AED 615. If you already know what you’re doing, grab a two-hour pass and hit the slopes for AED 220.
Watch out for…
Ice bumper cars – a wintery twist of the classic kids activity. Camping opportunities at Ski Dubai were also a big hit in 2016 and so were the Sno-robics workout classes… here’s hoping for more crazy fun in the snow this year!
