Quick and Easy Ways To Donate Your Clothes This Ramadan
From donating unwanted clothes to giving money to charity, there’s a lot more to the holy month of Ramadan than just fasting. Giving back to the community through volunteering initiatives and charity are very important parts of everyday life, and are even more important during Ramadan.
Giving you the opportunity to share a touch of love this Ramadan, two leading brands – OMO and Comfort – are encouraging Dubai residents to donate their clothes and help someone in need. OMO and Comfort are well known in the region for their annual Ramadan charity initiative, with this particular initiative – ‘Share A Touch of Love‘ – being their 9th one in a row in the UAE so far.

This Ramadan charity initiative by OMO and Comfort will run until the end of June in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The donated clothes will be washed using OMO and Comfort detergents before being donated to Emirates Red Crescent in the UAE and Keswat Al Sayeda Aisha in Saudi Arabia.
How to donate your clothes
From malls and residential communities to offices and schools, you’ll be able to find many donation boxes across the city. If you’d prefer having your clothes picked up from your home, all you need to do is simply use a service from Washmen or Helpling.
If you live in Dubai and want to donate your clothes through Washmen or Helpling, follow these simple steps…
Step 1: Get your clothes washed by Washmen or get your home cleaned by Helpling
Step 2: Sort through your unwanted clothes and place them in a bag
Step 3: Give the bag to either the delivery person from Washmen or cleaner from Helpling
Alternatively, you can drop off your clothes at one of the donation points around the city – details below…
