A LEGO NINJAGO world, massive prizes up for grabs and a free live concert… it’s Dubai Summer Surprises and Dubai Festival City Mall is the place to be! Offering family fun for all ages until the 4th August, we went down to Dubai Festival City Mall to check out all the awesome DSS 2018 celebrations in store this year. Here’s why you won’t want to miss it…
Kids will love…
…the LEGO Ninjago Movie zone! Themed around the family-favourite blockbuster LEGO NINJAGO, it has everything from fun games and workshops to photo opportunities with the ninjas themselves – Lloyd and Master Wu! Here are some of the LEGO stations you’ll find there:
- Speed Building Table: a fun challenge where kids will have recreate Lloyd’s Dragon using LEGO blocks in the quickest time possible!
- City Jungle Wire Parcours: similar to the buzz wire game from back in the day, kids will have to steady their way through the jungle without touching the wire.
- Jungle Mosaic: all the kids must work together to complete this giant LEGO mosaic of a gorilla!
- Free Building Zone: this station lets little ones use their imagination to build anything they like (we saw one of the kids build a flying bicycle – creative!)
When: The LEGO Ninjago Movie zone will be open until Saturday 28th July, 2018
- Workshops are daily, from 2pm to 10pm
- Meet & Greet the Ninjas is every Friday and Saturday, from 5pm to 9pm

- Shop or dine: spend a minimum of AED 300 at any Dubai Festival City Mall outlet (this includes restaurants and retail)
- Redeem receipts: enter the draws by registering and redeeming your receipts at the mall’s Customer Service desk
