7 Dubai Fitness Challenges to Look Forward to this Year
Looking to put your fitness skills to the ultimate test? With the Dubai Fitness Challenge kicking off this month, there are loads of action-packed fitness events in Dubai to look forward to this year! From The Color Run Dubai to the Spartan Race Dubai, here are 7 Dubai fitness challenges coming up soon…
1. Inflatathon Dubai
There’s a giant inflatable obstacle race coming to Dubai this year, and we cannot wait! Get ready to bounce, jump, crawl and slide your way through the Inflatathon Dubai course. Sounds easy? If you fancy taking it up a notch, you can also attempt the entire course in an inflatable T-Rex or Sumo wrestler suit… good luck!

2. Dubai Fitness Challenge
The Dubai Fitness Challenge is just around the corner – are you ready? Headed by His Royal Highness Sheikh Hamdan, the challenge aims to inspire everyone to get up and be active. Whether it’s just walking, signing up for a HIIT class or trying something completely unique, all you need to do is commit to 30 minutes of physical exercise for 30 days.

3. du Tough Mudder & Mini Mudder
The du Tough Mudder obstacle course is back in Dubai this December, with 28 challenges to put your skills to the ultimate test! This includes all of your favourite obstacles (like the icy plunge pool ‘Arctic Enema 2.0‘!), plus some exciting new ones lined up.

4. The Color Run Dubai
Get ready to unleash your inner superhero, because The Color Run Dubai aka ‘The Happiest 5k on the Planet’ is back in Dubai with The Hero Tour! This year, Color Runners are in for a treat with the return of the epic Foam Zone and the launch of two brand-new zones! Trust us, you won’t want to miss out on this one.

5. World’s Ultimate Strongman Challenge
Want to see a man pulling an actual plane?! Get ready to witness this and loads more insane acts at the World’s Ultimate Strongman Challenge in Dubai. Competing for the title will be Hafthor Bjornsson, aka The Mountain from Game of Thrones!

6. Wadi Adventure Race (W.A.R)
Ok so this fitness challenge is about 2 hours away from Dubai, but it’s definitely worth the trip! The Wadi Adventure Race is one of the oldest obstacle races in the UAE, where runners have to go take on military-style obstacles in the desert, mountains, valleys and the Wadi Adventure water park!

7. XDubai Spartan Race
The XDubai Spartan Race is back this year with two different races: The Spartan Women’s Race at Jebel Ali Racecourse (to raise funds for Breast Cancer Awareness) and the Spartan Race in Hatta! Whichever one you sign up to, you can expect some crazy obstacles and challenges to complete in the race to the finish line.
