These guys have nailed the classic Hyderabadi style. The meat is always cooked to perfection and oh-so-flavourful! It’s one of those biryanis that smells as good as it tastes… You know how, sometimes, your nose can deceive you? Not this time.
Location: Al Nahda, Dubai
Price: AED 20 – Chicken & Mutton
insydo Tip: True biryani lovers don’t mix their love with raita… but this place is the exception. The raita is incredibly good.
5. Lucky Bandra Dubai

This one really is a hidden gem because you would never expect their biryani to be so good! But it is. It’s an interesting mix of Mumbai-Mughal and absolutely delicious.
Location: Oud Mehta, Dubai
Price: AED 25 for Chicken; AED 27 for Mutton
insydo Tip: The chicken biryani has a slight edge over the mutton. This place has a chill-out vibe and is great for groups.
4. Coco Riva Dubai

The South-Indian ‘oh-my-god-I-want-it-everyday-biryani’. South-Indian cuisine is easy to find in Dubai, but a lot of it is hit-n-miss. This place manages a hit every time. Traditional South-Indian spices, the perfect amount of masala, lime pickle, chutney, papadums and payasam… need we say more?!
Location: Al Qusais, Dubai
Price: AED 15 for Chicken biryani; AED 17 for Mutton
insydo Tip: Their ‘Special Chicken Biryani’ comes in a Banana Leaf! #Must-try!
3. Deccan Biryani

Another Hyderabadi style makes our list because of their Chicken 65 Biryani. In Hyderabad, they usually have Chicken 65 as a side dish. In Dubai, restaurants tend to fuse the two into one mind-blowing dish that is a MUST-TRY…but if you really must try, you must try it here!
Location: Hor Al Anz, Dubai
Price: AED 20 for Chicken biryani and AED 25 for Mutton
insydo Tip: There’s a family box which serves 3 for just AED 35
2. Dastarkhwan Dubai

Lesser known unless you live in the area, this place serves up a delicious biryani. It crushes its familiar competition in the likes of Karachi Darbar & Ravi (we know there are loyal fans out there!). Go see for yourself!
Location: Al Nahda
Price: AED 25 for Chicken, AED 30 for Mutton and AED 25 for Fish
insydo Tip: The branch in Al Nahda is good for a family outing.
1. Daily Restaurant

It’s no surprise that a Pakistani-style biryani tops the list. We tried many different Pakistani restaurants but none even come close to this one. Living in Dubai, and being a biryani lover, you must have tried ones that have a similar taste… Daily’s biryani is so unique that even its branches vary in deliciousness! If you love your biryani, you have to make the drive to the Qusais branch and try this. Seriously, it’s Bucket-List stuff!
Location: Al Qusais (there are other branches, but we recommend this one!)
Price: AED 16 for Chicken biryani, AED 18 for Mutton
insydo Tip: Try to get there early. It is so good that they usually run out by around 9:30 pm!
Honorable mentions: we couldn’t include them all, but a shout-out has to go to Student Biryani, Jaffer Bhai’s, Pak Liyari, Liyari, Ravi, Dhaba, Salkara Restaurant, Biryani Pot & Biryani Hut; you didn’t quite make our top 6 on this occasion!
