5. Dum Pukht JLT
Yep, this popular Karama restaurant has a branch in JLT Dubai. Both their chicken and mutton biryanis are great, and come in generous portions. But if you’re a true desi who likes your food spicy – make sure to tell them in advance.

4. Zafran Dubai
Looking for some tasty North Indian food in New Dubai? If so, Zafran is a must-try! The Chicken Zafran Biryani, one of their signature dishes, is so yummm! The prices are a bit high, but the portion size, quality of food, service and restaurant views (overlooking Dubai Marina) makes up for it.

3. Delhi Darbar Express
Whether you prefer chicken, mutton or even a veggie biryani, you’ll find some of the best biryanis in New Dubai over here! Delhi Darbar Express is the place to go for authentic Indian food at affordable prices. On top of the delicious biryani, they also serve amazing Dal Makhi and Roomali Rotis.

2. Aappa Kadai JLT
We are so glad that the food at New Dubai’s Aappa Kadai tastes just like the original, because this South Indian restaurant in Dubai has one of the tastiest Hyderabadi biryanis in town! If you haven’t already, you need to try their Chicken Hyderabadi Biryani – it’s delish!

1. Haji Sahab Discovery Gardens
Yummy, flavourful, good portion sizes, ample amount of well-cooked meat pieces and not over priced – both the chicken and mutton Hyderabadi biryanis at Haji Sahab are definitely worth a try. Hands-down our favourite biryani in New Dubai!
