Has Your Mobile Network Changed to ’30Nov’? Here’s Why…

Did you wake up this morning to find your mobile network had changed to 30Nov? Both Du and Etisalat have changed the mobile carrier name to ’30Nov’ in the lead up to UAE Martyr’s Day this Thursday and UAE National Day this weekend.

This is the second time in recent months that the network providers have changed their name to mark an occasion, with the last being the UAE-KSA Together in September in celebration of Saudi Arabia’s National Day.

The hashtag #30Nov is already starting to dominate Twitter feeds this morning as residents notice the overnight change.
