Dubai Will Launch Special Boat Cruises on NYE For Watching the Fireworks
If you want to enjoy the New Year’s Eve fireworks in Dubai without the massive crowds, this special offer from the RTA will make sure you have the best seat in the house. You can now book a spot on a boat cruise that will put you up-front and centre to celebrations taking place across the emirate. Here’s what you should know…
The RTA just launched a special NYE offer that let’s you reserve a spot on a marine vessel and experience the festivities at Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab, Atlantis Hotel or Dubai Water Canal. Three modes of water transport will be available: traditional abra, Dubai Ferry and Water Bus.
- Abra: Trips start from Dubai Festival City, Jaddaf Station and Ghubaiba Station at a cost of AED 125 per person (free for kids under 2). Abra trips start at 10:30pm and end at 1:30am.
- Dubai Ferry: Trips start from 9pm and continue to 1:30am, starting from Marina Mall Station (Dubai Marina), Ghubaiba Station, Dubai Festival City Station (Dubai Creek) and Sheikh Zayed Road Station (Dubai Water Canal). Tickets start at AED 300 (50% discount for children aged between 2 and 10 years.)
- Water Bus: Service begins from the Terrace & Promenade Station and Marina Mall (Dubai Marina). The cost is AED 125 per person (free for kids under 2). Water Bus trips start at 10:30pm and end at 1:30am.
