Shopping Malls in Dubai Offering up to 90% Discounts Next Week

The Dubai Shopping Festival is getting ready to launch next week with a month-long schedule of free events, family activities, fireworks and mall sales with up to 90% discounts.

Running from December 26, 2017 to January 28, 2018, the shopping fiesta will take over Dubai’s many shopping centres – from Deira souks and Global Village to The Dubai Mall. With VAT being introduced on Jan 1, 2018, now is your last chance to save on purchases before taxes kick in for the majority of DSF. Here’s a quick guide of what’s coming…

Dubai Shopping Festival opening with super sale

If you planning on doing a bit of shopping during DSF, don’t miss the opening 12-hour super sale on December 26. The sale will feature 25% to 90% discounts on participating retail outlets in Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Mirdif, City Centre Deira, City Centre Me’aisem, City Centre Barsha and City Centre Al Shindagha.

Win big: For every AED 300 spent during the 12-hour super sale, customers can enter into a draw and win prizes worth AED 50,000, with the winner getting the offer to go on a shopping spree at Majid Al Futtaim malls during DSF. The raffle draw will be held at midnight on December 27.

Fireworks: This year, DSF is putting on 36 spectacular fireworks nights starting on December 26. Watch the fireworks every weekend from 8:30pm at The Beach JBR and 9pm at Al Seef and La Mer.

Market OTB: Head to Market Outside The Box (Market OTB) on the lawn in Burj Park, Downtown Dubai. The al fresco market features a mix of independent local labels and global brands. Market OTB will be open from January 11 to Jan 20.

The Ripe Market: Shop al fresco this DSF at Ripe Markets in Zabeel Park on Fridays, and Barsha Pond Park on Saturdays. Browse the market stalls and get real finds from city’s artisans, including arts & crafts, jewellery, fashion and more.
