Vegas, Baby! The Iconic Bellagio & MGM Resorts Are Coming to Dubai…
If you’ve ever dreamed of experiencing Vegas, look no further than the massive new resort being built on Jumeirah Beach. That’s right: two of the world’s most iconic hotel brands are set to “occupy the longest stretch of waterfront ever developed in Dubai”… and we’re officially excited.
Las Vegas arrives in Dubai
The massive new 26-acre project near Burj Al Arab will feature a Bellagio-branded hotel (famed for its dancing fountains,) an MGM Residences, as well as an MGM Hotel. The development is expected to be completed in 2021 and marks the first time the hospitality brands set up shop in the region.
Here’s what’s coming: a 500,000 sq ft theatre, beach club, museums, restaurants, adventure zones for kids and adults, not to mention a new corniche along Jumeirah Beach.
Rising above the beachside project will be a 110-metre-high tower (… yes, it looks like Mordor from Lord of the Rings) that will feature a sound and light show.
We’re not sure what to make of the project’s ultra futuristic design, but if it’s got a Vegas stamp of approval, we’re on board.
