When are the next public holidays for UAE residents?
- The Hijri New Year is expected to fall on Tuesday, September 11, so it’s possible that residents will get one day off to mark the occasion.
- Eid al-Mawlid an-Nabawī, also known Prophet Mohammed’s Birthday (PBUH), will tentatively fall on Monday, November 19 or Tuesday, November 20.
- Commemoration Day, also known as Martyr’s Day, will fall on Friday, November 30.
- UAE National Day will be celebrated on Sunday, December 2 and Monday, December 3. When combined with the previous weekend, it’s likely that UAE residents will enjoy at least a three-day weekend to mark the auspicious event.
