UAE to Offer 10-Year Residence Visas to Top Professionals and Students

UAE visa system to be amended this year

Among those eligible for a 10-year UAE residency visa include Grade A students, doctors, engineers and other specialists — along with their families. Going forward, students can apply for extended residency after completing their graduate studies “to allow for ample time to decide on career paths.”

100% ownership unveiled

The UAE Cabinet has also unveiled new changes that will allow 100% ownership of companies based in the emirates. Outside of free zones, investors are currently required to have a local partner with 51% ownership of a company.
