Dubai is Getting 3D-Printed Pedestrian Bridges and Bus Stops…

Dubai’s no stranger to futuristic endeavours, and this new 3D concept gives us an exciting new perspective on things to come.

The RTA is planning on using 3D printing technology on projects like pedestrian bridges, bus stops, and marine transport stations. Once rolled out, the ‘smart city’ initiative could bring down the cost of infrastructure and save on building materials.

Living in a 3D-printed world…

If you remember, Dubai opened the world’s first functional 3D office building right outside Emirates Towers this year. Constructed in just 17 days, the office is now home to the Dubai Future Foundation.
