Is There a 4-Day Weekend Coming? Here’s What You Should Know…
One of the biggest public holiday weekends in the UAE is upon us. With the combination of Martyr’s Day, UAE National Day and the birthday of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH), there’s a real possibility that residents will be getting an extra long break this year.
So here’s what we know so far…
- The UAE will be marking Martyr’s Day on Thursday, November 30
- UAE National Day will be observed on Saturday, December 2
Long break for UAE National Day?
In past years, the government has granted a one-day holiday for Martyr’s Day and a two-day holiday for National Day.
While nothing has been confirmed as of yet, the private sector might be enjoying a 4-day break starting Thursday, November 30 until Sunday, December 3 – with work resuming on Monday, December 4.
We’ll be sure to update you as more government announcements come in. Stay tuned!
