1. Unseen trails: Old Dubai iftar walk
This is your last chance to attend the Old Dubai iftar walk with Frying Pan Adventures! If you’re into photography and you love food, you won’t want to miss this. Kathleen and Tanya will take you on a three-hour sunset tour and iftar around old town, filled with buzzing crowds and photo opportunities.

2. Ramadan Night Market at Al Seef District
From food stalls and arts and crafts to henna artists, oud players and tanoura dancers – the Ramadan Night Market at Al Seef is a mix of culture and entertainment, and is definitely worth checking out. There will also be football-themed entertainment at Al Seef when FIFA World Cup kicks off.

3. Eid in Dubai
Eid is just around the corner, which means celebrations are in order! There’s loads going on in the city, including an after dark party at Aquaventure, Eid brunches, Eid parties and loads of family-friendly fun! Don’t miss all the live street performances at Boxpark, as well as kids workshops and activities at City Walk.

4. School of Rock at Dubai Opera
Based on the epic film School of Rock, the School of Rock musical at Dubai Opera follows the story of a grumpy ex-rock star who becomes a substitute music teacher at a school. But once he realises how talented his fifth graders are, he forms a rock band with them to compete at Battle of the Bands!

5. FIFA World Cup

6. Peter Pan at Ibn Battuta Mall
Ready to take a trip to Neverland? Peter Pan and Tinkerbell are coming to Dubai this month for a spectacular live show! Catch them at China Court, Ibn Battuta Mall, as they embark on an adventure to save Neverland from the evil Captain Hook.

7. Cinema Akil film screenings
Calling all movie buffs! There’s one last screening for Cinema Akil’s ‘Ramadocs’ series this week. Don’t miss Food Evolution – an insightful documentary about solutions to the food crisis. Following that, Cinema Akil has a great line-up of films this month, as part of its Fierce: An American Film Showcase program!

8. La Fete de la Musique at Dubai Opera
There’s a new musical show happening at the Dubai Opera, and it’s totally free to attend! Organised by Alliance Francaise, LA Fete de la Musique is a celebration of local bands and musicians, in an effort to promote new and local talent. The line-up includes The Gypsy Swing Project, Healer Twins, Kamal Musallam, Eddie Misk Trio and As Per Casper.

9. Laughter Factory
Ready to rofl? (That’s roll on the floor laughing, for the non-millenials) The Laughter Factory is back this month with 4 shows, and the international stand-up comedians all ready to leave you in fits of laughter!

10. Dubai Summer Surprises
It may be 40 degree outside, but one great way to beat the heat in Dubai is Dubai Summer Surprises! From great deals all over the city to fun activities and entertainment – there’s so much going on. One of the main highlights is Modhesh World! With zip lines, trampolines, bumper cars and water slides, there’s fun for all ages.
