Now that the weather in Dubai is finally getting cooler, it’s time to get out and start exploring the great outdoors again. So if you’re looking for cool parks in Dubai to explore, here are some lesser known parks that you (probably) haven’t heard of…
1. XPark Jr.
Looking for a park that your kids will love? XPark Jr. is a new natural forest-style park just behind Kite Beach, filled with greenery, wadis and more! From creating secret hideouts to climbing trees and forts, there’s fun for the whole family here.

2. North Park
Recently opened up in Dubai Silicon Oasis, North Park is a lush green park that has a kids play area, a section for toddlers, an outdoor gym, tennis and volleyball courts, a skate park, a running and cycling track and more. Entry is free.

3. Satwa Park
Satwa Park (different from Al Satwa Park) is hidden away behind Sheikh Zayed Road, and is the perfect spot to enjoy some quiet time, away from the buzzing streets. Entry is free, and they’ve got a basketball court and a children’s play area too.

4. Dubai Butterfly Garden
Ever visited the world’s largest indoor butterfly park? Tucked away inside Dubai Miracle Garden, the Dubai Butterfly Garden is open all year round, and is home to over 15,000 butterflies from 26 species!

5. Al Quran Park (opening soon)
Al Quran Park in Al Khawaneej gives visitors the chance to explore and learn – for free! Most of the plants you’ll see there were mentioned in the Holy Quran, and there will also be many more learning opportunities for everyone
