Blood Moon 2018: Important timings you should know…
On Friday, July 27 — from 9:14pm to 2:19am (UAE local time) — the longest lunar eclipse of the 21st century begins. The eclipse will reach totality for 1 hour and 43 minutes, when the moon passes through Earth’s shadow and takes on a stunning reddish color — with peak eclipse time clocking in at 12:21am.
Where to watch the eclipse in Dubai:
Nakheel is hosting a FREE event at 2nd December Park (District 14) in Jumeirah Village Circle from 9:30pm until 1:30am, featuring movie screenings, beanbags, bouncy castles and complimentary refreshments.
