Everything charming you love about the Dubai Creek is about to go into overdrive with the launch of an awesome new cultural district along the waters.
The Creek has just undergone a major transformation as the first phase of Al Seef becomes accessible to the public. This modern upgrade in one of the city’s most historical neighbourhoods is going to blow visitors away with a range of new places to hang out, eat and relax.

The project stretches 1.8 km along the Dubai Creek, close to the Al Fahidi Cultural Historical Neighbourhood. It has been developed by Meraas, the same group responsible for The Beach at JBR, City Walk and the new Bluewaters Island (have you seen the size of that ferris wheel?!)
If you were worried about the district losing its traditional and cultural spirit, fear not because Al Seef is maintaining the area’s heritage with some enviable design choices. A brilliant blend of old and new, you’ll find open-air markets and spectacular views that are perfect for a weekend stroll.

Along the waterfront promenade, there are cafes and restaurants to grab a bite or just a cup of coffee while watching the dhow boats sail by. In the pipeline for phase 2 – scheduled for completion in March of 2018 – are three new hotels, a floating market, galleries and an authentic souk inspired by 1950’s Dubai.
