With New Year’s Eve right around the corner, it’s time to start planning your night out with friends and family. As Dubai gets set to welcome 2018 with a bang, the city will be hosting several fireworks displays across town. Here are 6 to check out on December 31…
1. Dubai Festival City
Dubai Festival City is going all out with New Year’s Eve celebrations this year with multiple fireworks shows planned throughout the night. Festivities begin at 7pm with fireworks set for 9pm, 10pm, 11pm and midnight. Entry is free to the public.
2. Club Vista Mare
Club Vista Mare on Palm Jumeirah is a perfect option for foodies on NYE. From 8pm onwards, guests will be treated to live music and a range of international cuisines before the sky lights up at midnight. Food and beverage packages start at AED 250 per person.
3. Burj Al Arab
Burj Al Arab has long been an iconic part of Dubai’s NYE celebrations. To experience the magic firsthand, visitors can make their way down from 8pm onwards to catch a glimpse of the action at midnight. You can also opt for a F&B package at one of the many restaurants dotting Souk Madinat.
4. Qasr Al Sultan
If you want to ring in 2018 under the stars, we suggest heading down to desert resort Qasr Al Sultan for a bit of fireworks on the sand dunes, along with traditional entertainers and a dinner buffet. Packages start at AED 600, with festivities kicking off at 9pm.

Global Village will be jam-packed with thousands of guests on NYE as they get ready to showcase a wide range of festivities, live performances, and multiple fireworks displays throughout the night starting from 8pm onwards.
