XDubai Slingshot launches at Kite Beach this weekend
We’ve been hearing rumors for weeks about a human slingshot being built at Kite Beach… but the reality looks so much cooler than we imagined. The new XDubai Slingshot will see thrill seekers experience a force up to 4 Gs and reach speeds of up to 100 km/hr in just half a second — as they are propelled 120 meters over sand and water. Uhhh… sign us up!
Opening at Dubai’s Kite Beach on Friday, October 26, tickets will available onsite on a first-come, first-serve basis with the option to keep your name on the waiting list for the same day. The ride will be open on Thursday, Friday and Saturdays only. Who’s planning to try it?!
Must-know details:
- XDubai Slingshot experience costs AED 280 per person
- Timings are Thursday to Saturday, 9am-12pm and 1pm-7pm
- Riders must be aged 16 to 65 years old and weigh between 45-90 kg, with a minimum height of 140cm (riders under 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian.)
