Bollywood musical is coming to Ductac theatre
The theatrical play Muhgal-e-Azam is running at Ductac theatre from May 3 – 7. The show has been performed in cities across India and has picked up accolades along the way, including Best Indian Play at the Broadway World Awards.
The musical tells the 16th century tale of the doomed love affair between the Mughal prince Saleem and the ill-fated court dancer Anarkali. Made iconic in the 1960 Bollywood film directed by K. Asif and starring Dileep Kumar and Madhubala, visitors can expect extravagant sets and costumes, along with live singing by the lead actors.
